Hilldale Baptist Church is moving into a new chapter of church history with this weekend's opening of a new $6.2 million Family Life Center.
"This is about real people connecting real faith to real life. This is another example that we can even in recreation give glory to God," said the Rev. Larry Robertson, senior pastor at Hilldale Baptist.
An open house is planned Sunday with food and fellowship followed by a free concert at 6 p.m.
People can bring a lawn chair or blanket and stay for a live concert by Christian music recording artist Rebecca St. James.
