lkyouths: Rescue the Perishing
Here's the contemporary version that is beautifully sung by Rebecca St James [not!]. Enjoy ....Note: apparently this blogger has mistaken this song for a Rebecca St James song. But this is not really a surprise, as the voice of Cindy Foote is quite similar to Rebecca's in a couple of ways, and the user who posted this video on youtube is nicknamed RebeccaStJamesRockz. On top of that, a girl sitting on the ground at the beginning of the video is like a perfect Rebecca-lookalike... So there are a lot of great excuses here for the mistake. By the way: when I'd heard the song, I posted it as a hot tip to Rebecca - for her planned praise album. (Rescue The Perishing isn't a praise song strictly speaking, but it is sung as such, and I guess praise could indeed mean much more than we usually understand by it).
